Wow, sculpting a baby isn't that easy, Claude, but chapeau for your sculpting skills!! I think that practising is the only solution to this sort of jobs......at least that's my experience ;). Bonne week-end à toi. Bisous, Ilona
Wonderful work, you really have a lot of talent. - I have this book of Katherine Dewey too, it's so well explained and her work is outstanding, no surprise you got a lot of tips from her and some inspiration… although I remember well that baby-sculpting was not part of that book. With my arm problems working with polymer clay is not easy for me, getting the amount of clay smooth that's needed for a figurine is too hard… but it makes me appreciate the work of others even more. And I'm telling you a little secret… come closer… all my fairy and flutterbearies (including Fluby) are wearing wings that are printies from Katherine Dewey's website. ;O)
Nice inspiration that Katherine Dewey. The wings of your fairy and flutterbearies are beautiful. You're probably right for the babies of Katherine Dewey, a friend had lent me his book but I had to make a mistake, I can not find on the net the title! Sorry hugs
