Un pull

Merci Elizabeth pour ce bon moment, même si je n'ai pas été à la hauteur de ton tutoriel.

J'avais pourtant trouvé un ruban de 6 cm de large. Moins joli que le tien mais c'était tentant d'essayer  !

Conclusion : je ne suis pas méticuleuse.

  3. I think your sweater, made of the ribbon, is cute, Claude, it looks fine to me! Yes, I've seen the tuto of Elizabeth too, I love the pictures she made as a guideline to make it all clear. It's a pity that here in The Netherlands aren't such lovely ribbons, because people don't decorate their gifts with so much care, as people do in the countries around us. I've always loved decorating a gift with ribbons, or something else, but as I said, here there isn't much for sale...
Take your rest and enjoy yourself with things you love most.
    Bonne journée. Gros bisous, Ilona

the little sweater is cute with the little embroidery you add. We here have the same problem with ribbons.

    1. Thank you Drora, Elizabeth's model tempted me and I had a good time playing. I do not believe that the design of the ribbon is a real problem .. We invent with what we find

  5. Hello Claude, so many nice new posts since I last replied. And the sweater looks great, even though you are not entirely happy with the result. That's the fault of the ribbon, not you. I look forward to your next project.

    1. :-) Huibrecht thank you for this nice comment but the ribbon is not at fault, I'm clumsy. But the main thing is to play, is not it?

  11. In my opinion you're judging to hard over yourself… ;O) Your sweater looks very nice and you've received a good result which speaks both for your skills and for Elizabeth's excellent tutorial. And believe the words of a bear maker - the fabric has an immense impact to the result. The one you've chosen is a bit more from the rough side so don't blame it on you that it was not cooperative with not fraying out.

    Hugs
    Birgit

P.S.: I could not find your e-mail address - would you please write to Birgit.Wuttkowski@gmx.net (you find it also in the Impressum at my blog). I'll explain it to you then… ;O)

    1. :-) I recognize your kindness, Birgit, but I continue to think that it is not successful. By cons Elizabeth's tutorial is excellent and I had fun to try, which is for me the essential
