A great way to recycle and make ornaments for Easter. I wonder if it is possible to make embroidery on them like they do on regular eggshells. Hugs, Drora
thank you Drora. It is possible to carve a quail egg, see here: http://www.art-et-artisanat-du-monde.com/francais/boutique/Liste_oeuf_christel.php I did not try because I find the shell very fragile but it is feasible! hugs
If there is a way to fortify the egg shell, by lining it with a thin layer of Fimo or some air-drying glue, you could paint them outside and decorate with tiny artificial gem stones. Then make a tiny scene inside and have a lovely Faberge egg. Personally, I'd love to give it a try but can't get quail eggs here. Hugs, Drora
A great way to protect the delicate edges of the egg shells. Again they make me think of those typical gift boxes and decoration vases for Easter.

The decorations on eggs always fascinated me! Painting or sculpture gives wonderful results. When I'm great (smile) I'll try.
